He Sees Us

"Are you ok?"  I asked the woman.... I had seen her on the side of the road by a little bridge..at first I thought she was just enjoying the nice day and the view, but then I saw that she looked upset...I felt the Holy Spirit tugging at my heart to turn the car around and go talk with her....so I did.
"Yes, I'm ok".. she said
I could tell she had been crying...
"I don't usually do this" I said "but I felt that I needed to come and tell you that God sees you and he hasn't forgotten you"....
"How did you know?" she said... "My husband and I are living with his mother and money is tight and I've been so discouraged.  I've been thinking about maybe going back to church, and now you just confirmed to me that I need God back in my life".....

I left that place praising God that he was able to use me, a nobody, to remind this lady that she wasn't invisible, and that he saw her.   It's a wonderful thing when we can be in tune with God and know when the Spirit is nudging us and be able to go with it and see just what God can do.   He's bigger than me...and bigger than you.. and bigger than our problems in life.  God is changing everything, and I want to hold on and be a part of that...

Let's Do it!!

Do you ever feel too small to make a difference??
God wants you to know that the world we live in is small...
but you are not small, and he certainly is NOT a small God.

He wants to use us regardless of our size or failures...
he created us each for a unique purpose, and sometimes
even when we are not sure of what that purpose is...
if we just would let go and let God move in us and through us
we can change our world and turn it upside down.

It doesn't take a seminary degree or a big title to change our world..
God wants to use you where you are...
he created you with what you need to change your world
You just need to walk in faith
    and let God move...
YOU have been uniquely created to remind those in your world around you
that God has not forgetten them...

Most importantly know that God has not forgotten YOU!!
He knows the lonely roads you have traveled...
he knows the quiet moments that have brought you to tears..
he knows the hurt that your heart has felt...
and he has a plan for you... he wants to use you...

So let's stop limiting God and what he can do....
   let's start the new year
wanting to see what God can do... the lives he can change...
there is nothing impossible for the God of the impossible....
